Founded in 2019 by Luci Noel, Kentish Town Stores started life as a mixed disciplinary space in the heart of Kentish Town.
An independent coffee shop, lifestyle store & neighbourhood wine bar, offering the very best speciality coffee from Allpress Espresso, alongside devilishly good store made cakes and locally sourced fresh buns and pastries, all served up from the sunniest spot in Kentish Town!
For five years the store hosted a regularly changing menu of breakfast & brunch options with hearty sourdough sandwiches, soups, salads, and bakes for lunch – seven days a week. And in the evening a neighbourhood wine bar – serving up low-intervention wines from smaller producers and a changing menu of small plates to go with.
Upstairs was a coworking and event space that hosted a series of workshops and events from yoga to product launches, supper clubs & private parties.
In 2024, Luci sold the F&B side of the business and relocated the lifestyle store to the heart of Hampstead. An area with a huge artisan history but very little representation for modern craft on the high st.
This move will offer the opportunity to expand the offering, and collaborate with makers on exhibitions and realising new bodies of work.
